LIST OF ISSUES
Immigration
Allowing illegal immigrants into the country influences lower wages which ultimately hurts hard-working American citizens.
Haley wants to increase border security in an effort to help protect the freedoms of current, hard-working American citizens. This will also help provide more jobs for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and for the U.S. Border Patrol.
Guns
It is true that gun violence in the United States is a problem, but this does not hinder Haley's support in the right to bear arms stated in the second amendment.
Currently, the United States does not have a standardized background check. As president, Haley will implement a stronger, more secure federal background check that will be shared amongst the states. This background check will be in place at all gun stores and gun shows across the country in an effort to protect all American citizens.
Education
Haley wishes to initiate a federal standardized test and allow the states to determine the curriculum to help best prepare students for the federal standardized test.
Haley also wants to make it a requirement to take a minimum of two foreign language classes to promote bilingual students across America.
Environment
Haley understands the importance of protecting the environment and believes that 3% of addition funds should be taken from Medicare/Medicaid to go to helping the environment.
Haley wishes to promote jobs in the environmental industry by creating jobs to help regulate manufacturing pollution.
Economic Growth and Jobs
The United States has one of the greatest economies in the world. There's a reason that people come from all over the world to achieve success and economic prosperity.
In order to maintain the American identity and interest, Haley suggests that we promote small businesses and working class jobs in order to stimulate the growth of more jobs with the ultimate goal of reducing unemployment and increasing American businesses.
Marijuana
Haley does not support the legalization of marijuana unless prescribed by a doctor for medicinal use.
